After hearing the news of Mr Donohoo passing his 6th Degree grading, the Sturminster Newton class decided to put on a small celebration for him, the next day! We all thought this was a must because of how much he does for us and just to show how grateful we are to have such an amazing instructor!

Message from Mr Donohoo:

I feel incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful group of students in SDMA. There are so many individuals that make the group special and the bond we all share is something that I will always treasure. Students go above and beyond to help others fit in and that's something that I have always wanted from our club.

Thank you to everyone that helped me achieve my 6th Degree. The journey that has led me to this level has been far from straight-forward and I'm forever grateful to those that gave me their time and effort to help with my preparation for grading during the months leading up to it. This isn't my final chapter so I'll continue to train in any format I can and I hope to continue teaching this incredible art that has brought so many incredible people together. Our group is a "second family" to many and I'm looking forward to sharing in our growth, celebrations and achievements.
